Grace & Keely

Call-Sign: “Gracie”

Grace came to the Rescue a very timid but whip-smart pretty princess looking for her forever home. She flips up her left ear only on her schedule and refuses to be shaken by the rowdiness or noise of her foster brothers and sisters. She is true alpha royalty with a soft side!

Grace was fostered by our Director of Training, Samantha Scott, and her husband and our Advisor, John Scott, and shared her bed and toys with Inde and Porter. Her foster sister, Astrid, showed her the ropes! Make no mistake: Gracie may be a quiet sweetheart, but she holds her own in that formidable pack!

Grace’s veteran Keely lives in North Carolina and was brought to the Rescue Family by Kurt and Honor. She has the biggest backyard you’ve ever seen, so Gracie is living her best life. Grace has a bff next door, too.

Keely is involved with helping the youth in her community. Keely and Grace will be spending many years at youth camps. Keely also has chickens and cats who Grace has befriended. They even go to the gym together!

This is all we could have asked for sweet Gracie! And she and Keely are working towards graduation when they will make the best veteran service team and give everyone else a run for their money.

We are eternally grateful to Rotary International for making this perfect pairing possible! Rotary International connects cultures, champions for peace, fights for literacy and against poverty, and helps people gain access to clean water. They have graciously sponsored Grace and Keely’s journey to graduation and a lifetime of joy!
