Meet Andrew and Anubis, our first Monthly Group Program service dog team graduates! Andrew is a Navy Veteran who joined our Monthly Group Program with his wonderful hound mix. This team worked so hard and came to every lesson! We are so proud of and are so happy to be a part of their PTSD therapy and service companion journey!!
Anubis started with us as an 11 year old dog who proves that you can teach an old dog new tricks. She has made a big difference in Andrew’s life. As Andrew recently told us ,”The Rescue for PTSD team has made such a difference in my life, as well as so many others. I appreciate the help offered in the training of Anubis to help me through stressful and trying times. The Monthly Group Program helped provide great training for both Anubis and I, and I was amazed at how well she responded to it. The Rescue can take a great pet and turn them into an even greater companion and friend. I’ve also enjoyed meeting great fellow veterans to talk to and share experiences with.”
