VFW Post 2427, located at 14408 Alice Road Tomball, Texas 77377 (281) 351-2427, is a chartered local entity of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America. As a locally chartered entity of the VFW, they are committed to serving the area of the community in which they exist. The members of VFW Post 2427 (a 501(3)c non-profit charitable organization) are engaged in fund-raising activities such as dances and hall rental in order to engage in charitable activity in the community, act in support of disabled veterans and their families, provide scholarship to deserving students, and maintain their considerable facilities.
Combined Arms is a dynamic, ever-evolving collaborative impact organization that is using an innovative approach to technology and service delivery to disrupt the veteran transition experience. By providing comprehensive support to military members and their families as they transition to civilian life, we are accelerating veteran transition in order to deliver maximum impact on the communities they return to.
Paws for Heroes is a nonprofit that rescues homeless dogs and professionally trains them to serve as companion dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD, at no cost to the veteran!
The Patriot Knife Coffee Company is a veteran owned coffee business with the best coffee. They pride themselves on providing organic, fair trade coffee. They use a local source for the freshest, highest quality offerings. The Patriot Knife was originally started by one of our Monthly Group Lesson Veterans, Chris “Tree” McLean. His company donates to veteran and first responder organizations for fundraising but now also helping children causes and even animal rescues. They are also helping out organizations with donations of coffee gift sets and a custom printed mug with the organizations logo, as well as have been donating pet food to local animal rescues, leather pet leashes and making some cash donations when we can. To help him with donations of Patriot Knives and some leather goods, Chris is teaching veterans how to build knives and create custom leather goods that are donated.
