Dallas & Jeremy

Graduated: 5 April 2020

20200117_132226Meet Dallas, a Labradoodle who was our third fully-trained service dog!  Dallas was adopted by his Veteran Jeremy when a family friend realized a puppy was a bit too much for his family. They did an excellent job socializing Dallas before coming to us, which is fantastic!  Dallas is our social butterfly, making friends with EVERYONE 🙂

His obedience came along so well, and he participated in our trainer Sam’s weekly group20200117_135034 lessons, as well as agility class every Saturday morning.  He is a very well-behaved pup, and we had him fully trained and back with Jeremy by late Spring.

Dallas and his Veteran Jeremy graduated on April 5th, 2020, as a service team! Dallas is a smart pup and now has incredible obedience and quite a few service skills under his collar to help Jeremy out. We miss Dallas’s playful and cuddly personality, but he is set up to be an amazing companion for Jeremy.

Jeremy recently told us, “Before I had my service dog Dallas, I faced daily struggles and took countless medications to help with my anxiety, depression, and PTSD with seizures. After getting Dallas, my whole life has changed! I sleep better and enjoy life. Not to mention I am now medication free! Thanks to The Rescue for PTSD’s hard work and dedication, I was actually able to enjoy our family vacation for the first time without worrying the whole time about having an anxiety attack or seizure! Thank y’all for everything and your continued support with Dallas. Our family will continue to help support The Rescue for PTSD because they have changed our lives for the better!”
