Graduated: 14 May 2022

Freedom and Shalean worked tirelessly as a part of our Group Program to reach their goals for graduating.
Their training included monthly classes with the other veterans and pups, public outings at stores and outdoor malls, and lots of snuggles and support!
This pair could not be better suited for each other and more in love. Their calm and quiet demeanors compliment each other well, and they were clearly an incredible pair right from the start!
“I thank God every day that the Rescue for PTSD believed in me when I didn’t think I had much life left. Today, I am here and living my best life with confidence and happiness. I had forgotten what that was. When I look back a year and a half ago, I still tear up. The Rescue for PTSD changed mine and Freedom’s life. Today, I am able to share my hope with other Veterans who suffer silently. Ms. Laura and Ms. Sam have been beside me through all phases of my life – work life, personal life, and even being scared of life. Thank you, Rescue for PTSD, for giving me back the courage I lost. I hope one day I will be able to give back to Veterans what you gave me – the rest of my life.”
