This list gives an idea of the type of service tasks that our dogs could be trained to perform for their Veteran Partner.

Task List

Our dogs (and their Veterans) remain part of The Rescue family for life.  After adoption, the Veteran is required to have 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and yearly check-ins to make sure the team is doing well, to get assistance with any further training needs, to submit yearly health records for the dog, and to hopefully participate in Rescue events as a success story!  Every dog has their own webpage on our site and we will update it with news and pictures of them and their Veteran Partner!

Do you think you are ready to adopt a dog?  Take this online quiz to see how good you are at reading dog behavior and body language.
